15 months

This month our puppy arrived! Willow flew up from Rangiora in the South Island (29 km north of Christchurch) on Dadda's birthday (18th October). She was at the Christchurch airport just after 11 am and didn't arrived at the Onerahi airport until just before 5 pm. Little Willow was so tired and thirsty when we picked her up. I think you were actually more excited about watching her plane come in to start with. We stopped at Pet Essentials on the way home to get her a collar that would fit. Then we went home. Everyone came over to our house for dinner for Daddy's birthday. Willow was a little bit overwhelmed by so many people meeting her all at once so we let her into the bathroom so she could have a quiet space. I'm sure that you and Willow will be best friends and have so many adventures together. I love that you will get to grow up together.

You are such a chatter box now. You can say - Mumma, Dadda, Poppa, Nana, Digger (gigger), tractor, car, boo, ta, ga ga (chickens), ello (hello). We had your Plunket visit this month too. It went really well. the Plunket nurse was happy with how you're growing and developing. The only little thing I need to check out is your lip tie. I only found that out at this Plunket visit  so talked to the doctor about it the next day when we went for your 15 month immunisations. She is putting through a referral for you. You weigh 10.84 kgs and are 82.8 cms long.

Here's a funny little story for you for this month. You had a cocktail tomato that I gave you in the kitchen. As soon as I gave it to you your face lit up with a cheeky smile and you started walking as fast as you could into the lounge, away from me. I'd made you a hut with a sheet over the couch earlier so you went into your hut, sat down on your cushions and took a bite out of your tomato. After you'd had a couple of bites you went back into the kitchen and dropped your tomato into the dishwasher haha.

Love you so much Little Bear. Happy 15 months xx

Love from Mummy xx
