Week Five

This week we had our first meeting with the Plunket nurse. Next week is the last time we get to see Tina and then it will only be the Plunket nurse that will come to visit us. The Plunket nurse seemed nice, but Mummy is going to really miss Tina. She’s been so amazing with us. On Monday I took more things out to our new home and on Wednesday I started setting up your nursery. I’m so excited about setting it up and have waited so many months to be able to set up your room. You’ll still sleep in our room for the first six months though. Thursday afternoon you had your hearing test. You slept through the whole test and everything was completely normal. Friday was our last night at Nana’s house. We bought her a big bunch of flowers and Thai for dinner to say thank you for having us. We have been living at Nana’s house since December because I got too sick in the cabin once I was pregnant with you. I know Nana and Uncle Dyllan are going to really miss you. On Saturday we moved into our new home. Daddy set up your bassinet in our room so you could continue to sleep right beside me, but still be safe in your own little bed. There are still lots of things we need to finish off, but I’m so happy our family is in our first home together. I really hope that you like growing up here Little Bear. I loved growing up in the country. We still need to bring Custard, the guinea pigs, turtle and chickens here. We have lots of pets for you to meet. Love you so much xo
