Week Thirty Three

To My Little Bear

Happy Valentine’s Day Little Bear. Daddy and I love you more than the biggest rainbow. We spent Valentine’s Day together as a family this year. We didn’t have much money since I have only started working again, but we still made it special. I packed a picnic and Daddy carried it down the paddock to by the stream. We put out your yellow polka dot blanket and had a picnic lunch together. We also bought you a Valentine’s Day       present - a helium balloon, teddy bear and a book called LOVE by the Very Hungry Caterpillar. I wanted to take some photos of you playing under the trees with your balloon so Daddy walked down to the creek to see if he could find any eels to feed bread to. He’s convinced there are eels in our stream, but hasn’t seen any yet. We also picked up your new pet fish and five day old chicks this weekend too. We bought you the fish because you’ve been such a good boy at day care. You love your new pet fish. They make you smile so much and you keep trying to catch them  through the glass. We also finally planted your Pohutukawa tree Sunday afternoon that we gave you at Christmas. Now each year you’ll be able to have your photo taken with your special tree and see how much you’ve both grown. I love you so much Lukey Bear. I hope you had a happy first Valentine’s Day xx

Love from Mummy xoxo
