Monday 29th June
Today we got the best surprise ever when you decided to arrive three weeks early. . I went into the early stages of labour around 3.30 am. The midwife came to visit me at home just after 11.00 am and then Nana drove Dad and I up to the hospital. Then you were born not long after, at 1.17 pm. It was the most special day of my life. I love you so much little bear xx.

Mummy, Daddy and you not long after you were born. I was very tired, but have never been happier at the same time. We love you more than the biggest rainbow.
Tuesday 30th June
It was your very first day at home today. We're staying at Nana's house at the moment because Daddy is still working really hard on building our first home. You gave us a big fright in the night because you were coughing up mucus so we rang Tina (our midwife). She said that it was normal and that you would have a little bit extra because you arrived so quickly. I couldn't be happier that you arrived three weeks early, because it means that I get three extra weeks at home with you. Lots of family and friends came to visit you at home today. They all love you so much.
Wednesday 1st July
Today Mummy and Daddy gave you your first bath. You cried so much and I felt so mean bathing you. Daddy had lit the fire and set up a towel on the carpet to put your bath on. It's winter at the moment so we wanted to make sure you stayed warm while you had your bath. We gave you your little musical seahorse toy today for being brave after your bath.

Thursday 2nd July
This morning Don (another midwife) came to do your heel prick. Daddy cuddled you while she did it because I knew I would get upset if you got upset. I fed you before she arrived so that you would be relaxed. I felt so sorry for you having your tiny heel pricked, but you were so brave! You never cried or made a sound. Mummy had asked Daddy to go and buy you a Sleepy Tot bunny before your heel prick for being so brave so we gave that to you after the midwife had gone. You can snuggle your bunny and we can also attach your dummy to him so when you drop your dummy in your bed you can find it easily.

Friday 3rd July
Today Daddy had to go back to work and it was our first day at home by ourselves together. I was a bit nervous, but we were okay together. Daddy missed you while he was at work, but gave you a big cuddle when he got home. We both love you so much little one xx.
Saturday 4th July
Early this morning, during the night Daddy got the vomiting bug that I've had. He was so sick and didn't want you to get it so he went and stayed the rest of the night at Oma's and Opa's house. I looked after you and Nana helped when I needed her to. We sent Daddy a txt and a photo of you, saying that we miss him. He misses you lots too. Great Nana and Poppa came for dinner tonight. Everyone has been helping us out this week. We're so lucky to have such an amazing family that look after us so much.

Sunday 5th July
Daddy is feeling a bit better today. He couldn't work on our house yesterday so he went out there today to do some work. We also thought it was better that he waited until the afternoon to come home so we could make sure that the yucky bug had gone. We were so worried that you would get sick, but you didn't. It's nice to have Daddy at home with us again. We love being a little family of three.
