Week Fourteen

On Monday we did the Town Basin loop walk with Teresa, Alana, Mya and baby Cooper. In a couple more months Teresa will have a baby girl and you’ll have another new little friend to play with. Tuesday morning Daddy and I took you to the doctors for your three month immunisations. I came into the nurse’s room and kissed you goodbye, then waited outside while Daddy waited with you. You were a bit more upset this time, compared to last time. It always makes me feel so sad when I see you upset. That’s why I wait outside until your injections have been done. Then after they’re done I always come give you cuddles and feed you.  Your little leg seemed to still hurt the next day and you were upset so I got Nana to bring you out some Pamol. I gave you some Pamol and you settled down within half an hour, before falling asleep on me. I cuddled you and then put you in your swaddle, then tucked you up in bed. Aunty Robyn came out with Nana and met you for the first time. She gave you some new presents – cute new summer clothes, a mobile with a fish, butterfly and duck hanging from it and a little soft toy boy. When you woke up after you’re nap you were so much happier. I wish I had given the Pamol to you sooner. On Sunday a special surprise arrived – four fluffy yellow ducklings for you and our little family. They’re Pekin ducks and once they’re a bit bigger they will live in our orchard. You weren’t too sure about them to start with, but I’m sure you’ll like them once you’re a bit older. They’ll have their own small pond to splash in and you’ll be able to help feed them. Love you so much! x

Love from Mummy xo
