Week Twenty Three

To My Little Bear

This week you had your Christmas SPACE party. It was our last week of SPACE for the year so we dressed you all up in cute Christmas outfits and took a plate of food to share for the adults. I made mini mallowpuff Christmas puddings to take. You all looked so cute in your outfits together. We took some photos of your SPACE group. We’re going to try and catch up with the other mums and bubs over the summer holidays. We also had our last Plunket visit for the year. The plunket nurse suggested that it might be time to try you on solids, but you don’t seem to think so and don’t even want to open your mouth so we will leave it until you’re six months old. She thought it may help you to sleep better, but I really think it’s your little teeth going up and down that are the problem. The 5th of December was Sinterklass (Santa Claus) Day and because Oma and Opa will be in Holland on Christmas Day we celebrated Christmas early with Daddy’s side of the family. We took lots of family photos together, opened presents and Oma cooked dinner for us all. Oma and Opa gave you a turtle that projects coloured stars onto the ceiling. The stars change colours and so does the turtle shell. Custard and Snapper even got presents – doggie Christmas crackers. Snapper ripped his apart really quickly and Custard slowly chewed away at her one. We gave you an early Christmas present too – a Jolly Jumper. I’m sure you will love bouncing in it once you work it out. Your aunties and uncles also gave you presents. It’s not long until Christmas Day now – one more month to go. Love you Little Bear xo
