To My Little Bear
This week was a busy week. It was Nana Rosetta’s birthday on Tuesday and it was also Easter weekend this weekend. On Monday you went to Pammy and Dave’s house while I went to work. They love playing with you and Dave even let you sit up on his tractor! We had so much fun over Easter weekend together. On Friday we picked up special Easter themed cupcakes from Cuppa Cakes in town. We gave you an Easter basket for your first Easter. It had a ‘Guess How Much I Love You’ plate and bowl, a wooden bunny toy and one of the cupcakes. We also gave you a big clear plastic egg, filled with lots of smaller plastic eggs. You loved playing with those all over our lounge once I tipped them out for you. Over Easter weekend we went up to Kiwi North where they had the trains running. It was your very first time on a train. Your mouth was wide open most of time! You were so cute!! Easter Sunday you woke to your very first present from Easter bunny!! He brought you two new Easter books and a small chocolate, marshmallow egg. We read your books to you in your homemade hut with fairy lights in it. You listen really carefully to books now. I made your toast shaped like a bunny for breakfast and later on you ate your Easter egg. You couldn’t get enough of your first chocolate treat. We caught up with all our family over the long weekend and you were given Easter presents from everyone. Everything from more chocolate eggs to an egg cup, cups and special chicken bowl to eat your dinner out of. I hope you had a magical first Easter little bear: We love you with all our hearts.
