Week Thirty Six

To My Little Bear

This weekend we went up to Matauri Bay, about half an hour north of Kerikeri for Alana and Dom’s wedding. I didn’t want to leave you       overnight with anyone in Whangarei so asked Nana if she would come up to the beach and look after you while we were at the wedding. We hired out a small unit off the Book a Bach website to stay in for the night. You had lots of fun with Nana, but got upset when it was bed time so we drove back from the wedding to give you cuddles and put you to bed. Once you were settled we went back to the wedding. In the morning I took you for a walk down to the bay two minutes from where we were staying. We walked along the beach throwing fish back into the ocean that had got washed up on the sand, but were still alive. It seemed like they had got stuck when the tide turned maybe so we tried to help them. I also found a couple of shells for you. I want to make you a nature     basket to explore one day soon. You seem to love the one at Kamo Tots. It’s filled with sticks, pinecones and other natural materials. Then we drove home late morning and you had your morning nap in the car again. I gave you your dummy and you cuddled into your bunny. You’re so cute Lukey Bear. I’m so pleased we decided to take you with us. Love you more than the biggest rainbow xo.

Love from Mummy xox
