To My Little Bear
You’re such a clever cookie Lukey Bear! This week you’ve started pulling yourself up on the coffee table all the time and on the couches too. You’re even starting to walk alongside the couch. I’m going to have to get a new card for my camera and take some more videos of you. I’m so proud of you. On Wednesday Uncle Dyllan and I took you up to Barge Park. It’s the school holidays and they had a petting zoo up there. I’d been at the dentist in the morning while Nana Rosetta and Poppa Don looked after you; they couldn’t get you to have a nap so you were overtired by the time we got up there. There were calves, sheep, goat kids, ducklings, ducks, chickens, a little pig and a pony. You weren’t as interested in patting the animals as you normally would be because you were so tired, but you did seem to really like the pony and cart ride. Uncle Dyllan loved spending time with you too. If they have the petting zoo there next holidays we can go again. I haven’t been feeling the best this week so we had a quiet week. On Friday I took you to Mair Park to have a picnic lunch. We walked down to the bottom and saw all the ducks, then had a play on our picnic blanket after eating lunch. You spent most of your time playing with the buggy wheel. Anything with wheels you love! This afternoon (Saturday) we went and saw Poppa’s calves. The cows kept mooing and coming up to the fence. They were waiting for Poppa to move them and give them some fresh grass. The little Murray Grey calf was quite curious about you. I even hand fed Willy, the big bull some grass. Then tonight you decided you didn’t want veggies for dinner. You kept blowing raspberries and waving goodbye to them—such a cheeky monkey, but we love you sooo much xo
Love from Mummy xxx
